Weekly News

3 March 2008

From the keyboard of Lee Schearer,

Politics and your business.

Plato once said, "One of the penalties of refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by inferiors".

As business entrepreneur's we all have to face taxes, especially at this time of the year. Regardless of your choice of politicians or your party affiliation it is important that you stay informed with the issues that are being voted on by your elected officials. For it is these people who make the laws that have a lasting effect on such issues as taxes, social security, licensing fees, utility bills etc.

As members of the Chapel Hill Leads Group we all share similar interests and concerns about our individual business and the future for ourselves and our children. We are fortunate to have members who are knowledgeable and that are experienced in matters that can make your business a success, limit your tax liability and secure your financial future.

I encourage you to attend and invite a colleague or friend so that they too can share in the experience of this wonderful group of "can-do" entrepreneur's. I hope to see you this Wednesday morning with a smile on your face, a song on your mind and a positive attitude to share with your fellow Leads Group member.

Respectfully,

Lee Schearer
