From the keyboard of Lee Schearer,

Appreciation

I want to express my appreciation to both the Leads Group members who were so generous in their donations on Wednesday in helping to kick off the 3rd annual food drive and also to those folks who could and did participate in helping out on Friday at A Southern Season, who was so generous in providing the space in which to hold the fund drive.

At last count, we collected $1,700.00 in cash donations. Dave Stoner , who was instrumental in setting up the event informed us that $1.00 translates into 8 individual servings. Therefore, all of you can take great pride in the fact that the $1,700.00 translates into 13,600 individual meal servings. The final serving amount will be provided on Wednesday as we also collected food donations.

A job well done by all. I hope to see you this Wednesday, with a big smile on your face, a song on your mind and pride in your heart for helping those who are less fortunate than yourself.

Respectfully,

Lee Schearer
