From the keyboard of Lee Schearer,

Seize and hold favorable attention

This statement is the motive behind your presentation. It is your opportunity to tell our members who you are and what it is that you do.

One way to accomplish that goal is with the use of an exhibit. Following are some simple rules on the use of an exhibit

  1. Have your exhibit ready when the time comes (30 seconds go by quickly)
  2. Hold your exhibit high enough so that everyone can see it
  3. Hold your exhibit so it does not hide your face
  4. Near the end of your presentation state boldly, "a good lead for me is..."

Also, practice your 30 second presentation so that you are effective. Speak from the heart and speak with passion.

I invite you to join me this Wednesday morning and to experience the passion of our members and the reason why the Chapel Hill Leads Group is the premier business leads group in the region. Remember to invite a colleague, friend or fellow business entrepreneur. Bring a smile, a good sense of humor and an attitude of gratitude for the life that you live.

Respectfully,

Lee Schearer
