Check the Chapel Hill schools closing schedule on Twitter (https://twitter.com/chccs) each Wednesday morning to determine if the Chapel Hill Leads Group meets. Check the CHLG website (www.chapelhillleads.com) for any last minute changes!

This Week's Speaker:

Professional photography is more than pushing a camera's shutter release and charging the customer. This week John Teague of Chatham Real Estate Photography will reveal some of the work that goes into editing photos -- work that customers might not realize is happening, but which has a great impact on the final result. This editing process is one of the key differentiators between photos that are "good enough" and photos that are "great."

If you missed last Wednesday's meeting ...

Join Scottie Gardner of Colonial Insurance Agency and Let’s talk about life! … insurance and other types of insurance. With many insurance companies trying to take the “cool kid” approach with marketing of their company, let’s actually talk about coverages, what they do, and why a quick phone call to a 1-800 # might not be the best approach when purchasing insurance for the things you've worked hard to afford.

Speaker's Schedule for January / February 2017
1 February - Robin Thomas, USANA Health Services
8 February - Skyler Bergman, Morgan Stanley
15 February - Planned Open Networking Meeting

"Patriotism"

A few years ago someone in the Leads Group gave me a booklet titled 1776 Things To Love About America. It's underlying theme was about patriotism, a common denominator amongst most Americans and those within the Leads Group.

This past Friday we, the American people, saw the inauguration of our 45th President of The United States of America. While we, as individuals, have differences with those within our political system and parties, one thing that stands out for all the world to witness is the peaceful transition of our national leaders. Inauguration Day is not only about the newly elected officials, it is a celebration of patriotism. It is about the American spirit and the willingness to achieve, not only for our own goals and successes, but also for those of others.

I am excited about the new year and am devoted to making it better, both for myself and those of our members in the Chapel Hill Leads Group. I invite you to join me in this quest. I invite you to come to our Wednesday morning meeting and to join other entrepreneurs who have made the Chapel Hill Leads Group the oldest business referral group in the region. Remember to bring a smile on your face, a patriotic song on your mind and an attitude of gratitude for the life that you have been given in our great country, America.

Respectfully,

Lee Schearer

Attention CHLG Members - The Chapel Hill Leads Group's goal is to raise 100+ boxes of cereal a month. If everyone brought one box of cereal to two meetings this month, the Chapel Hill Leads Group would easily exceed the 100 boxes of cereal goal.
