Inclement Weather Procedure - In case of bad weather, the Chapel Hill Leads Group will not meet if Chapel Hill Schools are closed or delayed on the day of the meeting! Check the Chapel Hill schools closing schedule on Twitter (https://twitter.com/chccs) each Wednesday morning to determine if the Chapel Hill Leads Group meets. Check the CHLG website (www.chapelhillleads.com) for any last minute changes!

This Week's Speaker:

What if you could talk to the cells in your body? How would you signal your body's cells to work appropriately for optimal health? Sign language? Postcards? Email?  What if specific nutrient complexes could send signals that optimize complex health processes inside your body? It would be a game-changer for nutritional science. At the next Chapel Hill Leads, Robin Thomas will explain how the patent-pending technology from USANA Health Sciences benefits you and your own family.

If you missed last Wednesday's meeting ...

Professional photography is more than pushing a camera's shutter release and charging the customer. This week John Teague of Chatham Real Estate Photography will reveal some of the work that goes into editing photos -- work that customers might not realize is happening, but which has a great impact on the final result. This editing process is one of the key differentiators between photos that are "good enough" and photos that are "great."

Speaker's Schedule for January / February 2017
8 February - Skyler Bergman, Morgan Stanley
15 February - Planned Open Networking Meeting
22 February - Dave Stoner, Enviro-Fix, Inc.

"Problem solving in your business"

As many of you know, I like to read and learn, for it has been said "Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young. Henry Ford.

With that in mind while re-reading from my collection of self-help books I came across the chapter on "How to Analyze and Solve Worry Problems" from Dale Carnegie. In it he sums up his approach to help business owners with worries in three steps;

     1.) Get the facts,
     2.) Analyze the facts, and
     3.) Arrive at a decision-and then act on that decision.

As easy as it may sound I have used this technique in solving many of my problems both in my personal life and in my business life over the past 46 years of self-employment.

The one true advantage that our fellow Chapel Hill Leads Group members have is in utilizing the numerous resources available in helping each other abate their worries and to become successful, now in our soon to be 19th year as the oldest business referral group in the region. I invite you to join me this Wednesday morning and witness how this organization can help you in becoming successful in your business.

Attention CHLG Members - The Chapel Hill Leads Group's goal is to raise 100+ boxes of cereal a month. If everyone brought one box of cereal to two meetings this month, the Chapel Hill Leads Group would easily exceed the 100 boxes of cereal goal.
