This Wednesday, 16 August is an Open Networking Meeting at the Chapel Hill Leads Group. Take this opportunity to develop one new relationship. If you missed last Wednesday's meeting ...

Everyone at Chapel Hill Leads Group is used to Sharon Hill opening her elevator speech by saying “Sharon Hill, 1-800.”  At the August 9 meeting, we were regaled by the story of how her etiquette business came about.

You were indeed missed.

"Worry In Business"

As most of you know there are many worries with being your own boss, whether through a franchise business or through your own self-directed business venture. It is inevitable. Each of us do worry about the challenges that we face daily. There is no escape from worry. There is only the decision on how we handle those worries and challenges.

In the famous book by Dale Carnegie, "How To Stop Worrying and Start Living" there are numerous chapters dedicated to this subject. It is the one book, with the exception of The Bible, that has been my guidebook which has brought me success over the past 46 plus years that I have been self-employed. It is one book that I highly recommend for business owners.

While there are many directives that can help each of us with the emotion of worry, it can be best summarized in these words located on page #288 of the paperback edition;

"God Grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference"

I invite you to join me with your fellow entrepreneur's and to witness for yourself why The Chapel Hill Leads Group is the oldest known business referral group in the regions.

Respectfully,

Lee Schearer

Attention CHLG Members - The Chapel Hill Leads Group's goal is to raise 100+ boxes of cereal a month. If everyone brought one box of cereal to two meetings this month, the Chapel Hill Leads Group would easily exceed the 100 boxes of cereal goal.
