This Week's Speaker:
After almost 9 years in the insurance industry, Scottie Gardner has learned a thing or two about insurance needs. From liability and workers compensation for the tireless business owner to home, auto, and life insurance for those looking to protect the things they work so hard for each day, he’s reviewed and consulted countless circumstances while helping folks develop a better understanding of their insurance needs. Please invite your realtor and mortgage lender friends to this meeting.
See you there.

Did You Know:
From: Lee Schearer,
To: My Fellow Chapel Hill Leads Group Members
I recently had a conversation with a few of our members, after the regular meeting, in which we discussed what I call good business practices. These very basic steps can be applied to many situations, however, when used routinely they act as muscle-memory of the brain. As a result, like those used by professional athletics, these basic steps will result in business success. I might also add that the steps can be used during your 60 second infomercial. The steps are what I call the 5-W's;
Tell the potential client or referral partner;
1.) Who you are,
2.) What it is you do,
3.) Where you do it,
4.) When you are available and finally,
5.) Why it is you are passionate about your profession and
why should that person do business with you or refer their client to you.
I encourage you to practice the 5-'W's and to integrate them into your 60-second infomercial this week. I invite you to join me this Wednesday morning and to see why the Chapel Hill Leads Group is the oldest business referral group in the region, celebrating our 19th continuous years in helping small- business owners achieve success.
Remember to bring a smile on your face, a skip in your step and an attitude of gratitude for the life that you have and the opportunities available to you in our great nation, America.

Attention CHLG Members - The Chapel Hill Leads Group's goal is to raise 100+ boxes of cereal a month. If everyone brought one box of cereal to two meetings this month, the Chapel Hill Leads Group would easily exceed the 100 boxes of cereal goal.
