"Flag Day"

The following articles are from www.timeanddate.com

Flag Day falls within National Flag Week, a time when Americans reflect on the foundations of the nation’s freedom. The flag of the United States represents freedom and has been an enduring symbol of the country’s ideals since its early days. During both events, Americans also remember their loyalty to the nation, reaffirm their belief in liberty and justice, and observe the nation’s unity.

The American flag, also nicknamed as “Old Glory” or “star-spangled banner”, has changed designs over the centuries. It consists of 13 equal horizontal stripes of red (top and bottom) alternating with white, with a blue rectangle in the canton bearing 50 small, white, five-pointed stars. Each of the 50 stars represents one of the 50 states in the United States and the 13 stripes represent the original 13 colonies that became the first states in the Union.

It is important to remember the history of an event and how it applies to both the present-day and the future. It is equally important to become a member of a business referral group when you own and operate a small business. Like our nation, the Chapel Hill Leads Group also has a past, a present-day and a future to look forward to. We now are into our 20th continuous year of helping small business owners achieve success through business to business referrals. We have a saying that "we want to do business with those who we know, we like and we trust". It is more than a saying to those who attend regularly, it is a blueprint of business success. Please see our web-site at www.chapelhillleads.com

I invite you to  join me this Wednesday morning and to become a member of the oldest business referral group in the region, the Chapel Hill Leads Group.

Respectfully,

Lee Schearer

Attention CHLG Members - The Chapel Hill Leads Group's goal is to raise 100+ boxes of cereal a month. If everyone brought one box of cereal to two meetings this month, the Chapel Hill Leads Group would easily exceed the 100 boxes of cereal goal.
