The subscription process is a two step confirmation process, which has dramatically reduced the number of subscriptions created by various internet programs (bots). After the initial request for a subscription is received, a confirmation email is automatically sent to the requesting email address. A response to the subscription confirmation message must be received within 48 hours. After 48 hours, the subscription request is discarded and another request is required to restart the subscription process.

If you have a web mail account (i.e. Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc.)  you are required to login to your web mail account, create a new blank email, copy the appropriate link (subscribe or unsubscribe) from below and paste it in the "To" field of a blank email, and send the email from your web mail account. The unsubscribe process is not a conformation process. Your unsubscribe request will be honored when it is received. The unsubscribe request must be sent from the original email account to be automatically unsubscribed from the news letter. If the original subscription account is not available, the unsubscribe request will take two to three weeks to process manually. During this time you may still receive Chapel Hill Leads Group correspondence.
